Soap RecipeTry this wonderful soap recipe. Oats and honey are used in skin care products to aid reducing inflammation and soothe dry and itchy skin. The oats are also a great exfoliator.

Ingredients
1 lb. goat’s milk melt and pour soap base from craft store, cubed
2 tablespoons finely ground oats
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Spray bottle with rubbing alcohol

Preheat SunflairĀ® solar oven to 120-125F

You will be using both silicone pots for this. Cut the goat milk soap base into cubes and place 12 oz in one silicone pot, and 4 oz in the other. Cover and place in oven for about 5 minutes. Stir and repeat until completely melted.

Once the 12 oz of soap base is melted, combine ground oatmeal and honey. Spray with rubbing alcohol to remove air bubbles. Add a dusting of cinnamon on the surface. Let the top cool a little to the touch. Now, add the melted 4 oz soap goat’s milk soap base and sprinkle with whole oats.

Let cool completely before removing and cutting.
